WHAT & WHY?
Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment (HBOT): Nirvana’s medical grade HBOT helps hyper-oxygenate fascia (tissue surrounding muscles) which dramatically increases pliability, flexibility and helps eliminate the pain in sore muscles. This can allow a massage therapist to more effectively manipulate muscles in ways that would not be possible because of existing tension and stiffness. An added benefit is that the tenderness and inflammation that may occur the next day could be completely eliminated.
15-minute Infrared Sauna:Spending just 15 minutes in the infrared sauna will help heat the body from the inside out. With the body warmed up, far greater therapeutic value is achieved from the massage.
60-minute Medical Massage: with the body hyper-oxygenated and warmed from the inside out by the sauna, Nirvana’s massage therapist, “Can achieve more in one hour than if they worked on the patient all day,” reveals Lynn Brown LMT and Exercise Physiologist.
30-minute Infrared Sauna:Following the massage, spending 30 minutes in the sauna helps pull out toxins that have been released by the deep tissue massage, hyper-oxygenation, and the infrared heat.
Optional Chiropractic Adjustment:As you age, it can become more challenging for a chiropractor to achieve the same level of successful adjustments since the body can be more rigid. Following HBOT, massage and sauna treatments, the enhanced flexibility can help the chiropractor to achieve a better result.
